I'm using the Plus Pack (2013 version) for the first time. I took an Image from a Toshiba laptop and I need to restore it to a Lenovo T61 laptop. Half way through the restore I get a message 'Device driver 'PCI VEN_8086&DEV_2829$SUBSYS_20A717AA&REV_03' for Microsoft XP Home Edition can not be found. What kind of driver is it looking for? I've been to the Lenovo website for the driver support and I have downloaded lots of files but these files are executables.

Thanks for the help. But I'm not sure I did this right. I double clicked the.exe file and ran the application from my downloads folder. I got a warning saying that the drivers I was about to install were older than the ones already had. So I chose NOT to install them. Then, I went to the device manager, right clicked the PCI Serial Port, then chose update driver.

No one at my workplace knows the logon information for our router with internet access (we have an IT contractor, but if possible it would be nice to solve this without having to call in the contractor). Any idea what driver the system needs? Acronis Backup's Universal Restore partially installed the chipset drivers to get the computer to boot. Once the computer was booting, I first installed the drivers for the graphics and ethernet (since I was able to identify those easily). Then I installed the 'Intel(R) Management Engine Components Installer' (which cleared the 'PCI Simple Communications Controller' missing a driver), and finally the 'Intel Chipset Driver' (which cleared the 'SM Bus Controller' missing a driver). Ok so I have now used MDT for about 5 years and never had any issues. I usually get a new device wipe it clean install windows and get all the drivers from the manufacture then use a software called Double Driver and get all of the drivers needed. I then take those drivers and put in in a new folder with the manufacture name and model.
