But I have the NTSC-U of Pokemon XD gale of darkness, and I wonder if this difference of regions really makes big deal in game play. Do I need to have the EUR region of the game? And whats the difference?

You can try dolphin 5.0 which was recently released. It seems to be really stable. Alternatively, if you have a wii or wii u lying around you can follow some relatively simple steps to get a gamecube emulator on it (I use nintendon't). Since it runs the actual official gamecube emulator it runs perfectly.

I have a HP laptop, AMD II cpu 2.2ghz 4 GB ram ati mobility GPU with.5GB, it seems to run fine, a bit slow, just walking around, besides the graphics problems. I've tried several options with different vid plug-ins and nothing seems to fix it, so far it seems to work best on D3D9 on fullscreen at 1366x768 internal res set to 1x and anti aliasing off and ansiotropic filtering set to 1x. Ergo the clock rate rises with load. The higher the GFX clock rate because of load the better the game runs. Get my drift here? When i don't max everything out the gfx card likes to flutter to idle clocks which is 51MHz and then back to mid range clock which is 405 MHz. Causing frame dips and stuttering audio issues and just general frustration.
